    • The cosmic background is cheaper to draw: the eye is one layer with a soft halo instead of a blur filter, and each tendril pair only covers its own edge of the screen. It looks the same.

    • Smoother scrolling on every page: the cosmic background no longer redraws itself as you scroll. The stars, eye and tendrils move on their own layers, only the twinkling stars are redrawn, and the eye's glow stays drawn as it drifts. The browser does about 40% less work while scrolling, with about 70% less repainting. It looks the same.
    • Sections still materialise out of the haze as they scroll in, with a lighter blur that is much cheaper to animate.

    Featured Song and the Cosmos

    • A Featured Song on the home page, before the images: a mini player with the song's lyrics lighting up line by line as it plays (when they're timed), plus "Commission a Song" and "Hear all songs". It plays the song pinned with the new ★ in the Music Helper, or the newest one.
    • A Portfolio page (/portfolio/) with three big panels, Images, Music and Apps, each slowly cycling through its featured work. The Portfolio menu gains an "Overview" entry for it.
    • A subtle cosmic background across the whole site: drifting violet nebula light, stars, tendrils and a faint giant eye that wanders and blinks. Sections materialise out of the haze as you scroll, and while music plays the eye widens and glows with the song.

    • Before/afters for edits: a slider to compare the original with the result, and a step-by-step progression when there are more than two images.

    • Each song on the music page shows how many times it's been listened to ("57 listens"), next to its collection in the list and under the player. A listen counts once a song has played for 10 seconds or to its end, once per visit. The numbers come from the site's GoatCounter stats and appear once its public counter is switched on.
    • Songs don't need a collection: pick "No collection" in the music helper and they go in "Miscellaneous", which always comes last.
    • The music helper's lyrics timer has a Preview mode that plays the song with the lyrics lighting up exactly as they do on the website, including timing that isn't saved yet. Timed songs also get a preview button of their own.

    • A music page at /music/: the highlight reel. A player with play/pause, next and previous, shuffle, a seek bar and volume, plus the song's cover art, a free MP3 download and a "Listen on Suno" button.
    • Lyrics beside the player (below it on phones), with [Verse] and [Chorus] labels. Songs whose lyrics have been timed follow along: the line being sung lights up and scrolls into view, and clicking a line jumps there.
    • Collections (albums, genres or themes) as tabs above the player; picking one filters the list and what plays next.
    • The reel keeps playing song after song. Phones show the song and its controls on the lock screen.
    • Every song has its own link (/music/<song>/) with its cover as the link preview, and a Share button that copies it.
    • Plays, downloads and Suno clicks for each song are counted in the visitor stats.
