Changed

• A new icon: The Prompted Pixel logo with a music badge, in the Start menu, on the desktop, in Settings → Apps and on the app's window.
• The download is simpler. Unzipping it no longer makes a folder inside a folder, and it opens to three things: Install Lyric Timer, How to use Lyric Timer and the README. The rest is tucked into a "files" folder, so there aren't two look-alike "Install" files any more.
• The installer opens Lyric Timer when it's done and closes its own window. It no longer asks you to type Y or N.
• The guide, the README and the website describe both warnings Windows may show before installing: "Security Warning" (click Run) and the blue "Windows protected your PC" (More info, then Run anyway).
• The guide starts where you are, with unzipping the download. Its steps are labelled with the app's own tabs (1 Lyrics, 2 Time, 3 Preview, 4 Export), so they're easy to match up.

• A step-by-step guide with pictures, from installing to exporting. It pops up the first time you use the app; after that it's under the ? button (Step-by-step guide) and on the start screen. The download also has a "How to use Lyric Timer" file to read before installing.
• Fixing a line is its own clear step. Click a line to select it (clicking never changes its time). Its panel shows the time with Earlier and Later buttons, plus Play it, Re-tap from here, Clear time and Done.
• Keys for the selected line: ← → move it a tenth of a second, ↑ ↓ pick the line above or below, Enter plays it, Esc is done.
• Preview has "Fix the lit line's timing", which takes you straight to the line that's lit.
• The line Space will time is marked "next Space".

• Choose a Song opens Windows' file window in your Music folder.
• In Time, Space starts the song when it's paused, so the first press never times a line by accident. The big button says Play or Tap to match.
• Undo (Backspace) now undoes any change to a line (a tap, moving it or clearing it) and puts back the exact time it had. Before, it only took back the last tap.
• Tapping only fills lines that have no time yet, so a good time is never overwritten by accident. To re-time lines on purpose, use Start from the top or Re-tap from here; pausing ends that.
• The playing line is a light tint, so it can't be mistaken for the selected one.

Fixed

• Clicking Choose a Song did nothing (only dropping a song worked).
• After reopening the app, tapping carried on from the wrong line when earlier lines had gaps.

• Space times the next line even after you click the player's play button. Before, the player held on to the keyboard, so Space paused the song instead of timing a line (and the arrow keys jumped through the song).
• Space no longer reopens the Speed list after you change the speed.

• The app's icon now shows in its window and browser tab. It was left out of the single-file build, so the installed app had no icon there.

• Load a song (MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG or FLAC) by choosing it or dropping it on the window. MP3s from Suno bring their title, artist, lyrics and cover art with them.
• Step 1, Lyrics: paste or edit the lyrics; [Verse] and [Chorus] lines are section labels and blank lines separate verses. Editing keeps the timing of lines that didn't change. Import an existing .lrc (to fix its timing) or a .txt.
• Step 2, Time: start from the top and press Space as each line begins; Backspace undoes. Click a line to set it to the current moment, play from just before any timed line, and nudge the selected line by a tenth of a second with the arrow keys. Slow the song to 0.85×, 0.7× or 0.5×.
• Step 3, Preview: the lyrics light up and scroll with the song, karaoke-style; click a line to jump there.
• Step 4, Export: LRC for music players, SRT for video editors and YouTube, WebVTT for web video, plain text and JSON, each to download or copy. Shift every time earlier or later at once, and optionally keep section labels in the LRC. Warns about lines left untimed or out of order.
• Your work (and the song) is kept in the browser until you start a new song, so closing the window loses nothing. Nothing is ever uploaded.
• A Windows installer (per user, no admin rights) that opens the app in its own window, with Start menu and desktop shortcuts and an entry in Settings → Apps.
• Help and keyboard shortcuts behind the ? button; the version shows in the footer.
