Clear All Interests: at the bottom of the library and in a new Your Data section at the bottom of Settings, behind a confirmation that says how many interests and activities will go. It removes every interest, activity and group; your history and check-ins stay. Shown only when there's something to clear.
Three languages: English, Spanish and Swiss Standard German (always "ss", never "ß"). The first screen asks which one, preselected from the phone's language, and Settings can change it anytime, including a Follow Phone choice.
Intro cards: five swipeable cards on first run that explain spoon theory, decision paralysis and executive dysfunction in a sentence or two each, with a Read More link to the Wikipedia article in the app's language. Then how Spoonful helps with hobbies and interests, and the three steps. They reopen from What Are Spoons? on the check-in screen and How Spoonful Works in Settings.
Interest builder: name an interest, pick its colour and icon, then answer "What could you do with..." for each spoon level from 0 to 5 (every box is optional). It's used for first-run setup, Add Interest in the library, and a new Add an Interest in Settings.
Interests section in Settings, with Add an Interest and Open the Library.
Changed
No built-in interests. Spoonful starts empty, and setup asks for your first interest with at least one idea at 0 or 1 spoons and one at 2 or more, so low and higher days both get a card. It then suggests adding two more for a full hand of three, with Start Now always available.
The starter library of ready-made interests is gone from the app (it lives on as test data only).
When only one interest fits, the draw says to add more interests for a full hand.
People updating from 0.1.0 keep everything, and go straight to the check-in as before.
Done now has its own full-width button, with Partly and Skipped side by side below it, so longer words like "Ausgelassen" fit.
Card titles hyphenate long words at real syllables in the app's language (German compounds no longer split mid-word).
A separate "Spoonful Demo" debug app, with neutral sample data in each language, for screenshots. The overview infographic now comes in English, Spanish and German, as a PNG and as a PDF with clickable Wikipedia links.
Spoon check-in: pick 0 to 5 spoons from six big buttons, with nothing preselected. More Options adds the time you have (5 min to 1 hr, or open) and three filters: Easy to Stop, Not Messy and Quiet. Every check-in is logged for the energy patterns planned for 0.2.0.
The three-card draw: three face-down tarot-style cards, each from a different interest, dealt in a slight fan. Tap to turn a card over, tap again to choose it. Cards lean toward activities close to your spoon count, and a card only appears if it costs no more than you have. Redraw deals three new cards, and pressing and holding a card offers Not Today or Never Show Again, which swaps in a replacement.
Rest card: at zero spoons, a "Rest Counts" card comes first, with gentle zero-effort ideas only if you ask for them.
Card details: each chosen card shows its interest, a short "why this card" line (spoons, minutes, easy to stop, quiet, days since you last did that interest) and its tip.
Doing It screen: the activity, an Open button for its link or app, the tip, and an optional silent timer that counts up or down (5 to 25 minutes). Mark it Done, Partly or Skipped, all logged the same way. If you leave without choosing, Spoonful asks how it went next time.
Spoons now?: an optional one-tap check after finishing, saved with the log entry.
Library: interests in optional groups, each with an icon from 24 line icons and one of six brand colours. Interests can be starred as favourites or paused, either until unpaused or for a week, a month or three months.
Activity ladders: each interest lists its activities from 0 to 5 spoons, with "Nothing at 3 spoons yet" gaps you can tap to fill.
Adding activities: Quick Add (title plus spoons), Paste a List (one per line, and a line starting "3:" gets 3 spoons), and a full editor for size (Micro, Short, Session), minutes, setup and cleanup time, filters, tip, notes, and a link or app to open. Apps are chosen from a list on Android and by file path on Windows.
Starter library: 21 ready-made interests with activity ladders, chosen on first run or added later from the library.
Settings: how cards are chosen (Gentle Rotation, Favourites or Pure Random), which activity sizes to include, size labels on cards, theme (Follow System, Dark or Light), motion (Follow System, Full or Reduced), and an Easy Reading Font (Lexend).
Accessibility: 48dp touch targets, screen-reader labels on every card and control, visible keyboard focus rings on Windows, text that scales with the system, and reduced motion that turns cards over instantly.
The Prompted Pixel look: dark-first cosmic violet, with a light "graph paper" theme, in Unbounded, Figtree and JetBrains Mono. All fonts are bundled, so everything works offline.
Platforms: Android (phone), Windows (installer), and iPhone (an unsigned .ipa built by GitHub Actions, for sideloading). Everything is saved on the device, with no account and no internet.
Tests for the draw logic, a click-through of the whole loop, and rendered screenshots of every screen in both themes (gradlew :composeApp:desktopTest, output in composeApp/build/screens/).
